Vila Jarrell
General Manager
Experienced in the award-winning culinary operations of this Omni Hotel’s signature restaurant, Vila brings over 15 years of F&B management experience to her new role. Prior to joining Bob’s team Vila was General Manager at Prime 44 West, at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur, WV, General Manager at Barattolo Italian Restaurant at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, in Farmington, PA. and General Manager of 1832 Steakhouse at Choctaw Casino Resort, in Durant OK. She is a certified Sommelier with a B. A Degree in International Studies from the University of Washington and a Level 3 WSET student working towards her Wine Diploma.
Vila is passionate about facilitating best-in-class fine dining experiences and creating memorable guest celebrations. Her passion for pairing unique wines with signature dishes brings a welcome addition to the team and a joy for oenophiles visiting the resort. As an active member of ACEL, Asian Corporate & Entrepreneur Leaders, she is also a member of GuildSomm, Wine Scholar Guild, & a participant of the TEXSOM wine conference.
When Vila is not studying wine, she is relaxing on our beautiful golf course, or hiking one of our beautiful desert trails and nearby Sonoran desert parks. Some of her favorite local favorites are Tohono Chul, Desert Museum, Botanical Garden, and Pima Canyon trail.
